LIST OF AERONAUTICAL CHARGES IN CAMEROON;
Both aeronautical and non-aeronautical charges are important to the airport because it provides profitability.
This revenue is important to maintain and managing the airport to be fully functional.
The airport is also a type of business and in every business, profit is very important.
Therefore, airports will charge airlines and passengers based on the fixed aspects and at the same time make sure the airport is profiting after deducting the cost.
If the charges are not paid then the airport then it would be in a deficit and trouble the airport to manage the business and run the airport smoothly.
For example, Air X X was sued for outstanding aeronautical charges, that outstanding would have affected the profitability of the airport.
If any of these charges are not paid will affect greatly the profitability of the airport business.
The various user charges levied for the use of airport and air navigation services in Cameroon are set by the government and published by decree.
What facilities Cameroon airport include!
In this regard Decree №2000/006/PM of 06 January 2000 institutes the various aeronautical charges applied at the airports in Cameroon. These aeronautical charges levied to commercial aviation using Cameroon airport facilities and air navigation services include:

- Civil aviation security charges;

- Airport infrastructural development charges;

- Passenger service charge;

- Aircraft parking fees;

- Aircraft hangar fees;

- Air cargo fees;
-
- Use of air bridges fees;

- Fuel charges;
-
- En route charges; and,
-
- Prolongation of airport opening charge.
The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) regulates and supervises the said charges.
